I'm almost 40, a mom, married to the love of my life, extremely happy (i.e. gay), a musician at heart with rusty chops, a geek, a superhero to my son and our two cats. I know where I belong; I'm the luckiest.
my wife has been wanting to get a tattoo of an elephant (or a few elephants) as a representation of our son.. elephants have been a thing for us for years.. she got me a necklace with an elephant charm when we started our first infertility treatment cycle and i wore it constantly until last years mother's day when she and ben got me a heart charm. she's been trying to decide what to ask the artist to go for artistically and i liked the abstractness of this sketch.. she'd have the artist change it up a bit to be more applicable to us.. but i liked the approach.
I can't stop staring at this. What's it supposed to be?
